Fatiq Nadeem and Colleagues Research How Better Air Pollution Forecasts Can Help Individuals

Phd Student Fatiq Nadeem collaborated with a team of researchers to conduct a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) in order to assess whether access to air pollution forecasts helps people adapt more effectively to air pollution. Working in one of the most polluted areas in the world, Lahore, Pakistan, they successfully developed forecasting information which led to citizens of the city to spend less time outdoors and buy more N95 masks.
